I'm missing a very old friend today.
One that cannot be reached through facebook, myspace, or even a telephone. She's just- gone.
We had some really good times in high school, as well as some really tough times. She went through situations that should have never entered her life at that young age. The age when we were supposed to have fun and enjoy life. High school- a little safety net world. Where most of our responsibilities consisted of doing homework and chores around the house.
I remember the way she talked and laughed, though it's been years since I've seen her. She was a real goof.
I wish I had been able to make her happy they way she wanted me to. But I couldn't, and I'm very sorry.
Just missing that group of friends I had. All the laughs and free times.
I miss her and I hope she is making it in her tough life.
